Our Mission

Gente de Teatro (GdT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company, founded in 1995, in Houston, TX, USA.

GdT’s mission is to promote culture and Spanish-language-theater through works by renowned Latin American and international playwrights. GdT seeks to enrich the quality of life of the Houston community through education, culture, and entertainment. All of our productions are presented in Spanish, and some include English surtitles.
