Our Mission

Gente de Teatro (GdT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater company founded in 1995 in Houston, Texas.

Our mission is to promote culture and Spanish-language-theater through the works of renowned Latin American and international playwrights. We seek to enrich the Houston community through education, culture, and entertainment. All our productions are presented in Spanish, with English surtitles available for select performances.
